A Near Miss

Just yesterday I commented on the need for 100% concentration while driving in Qatar. Today I brought that home to myself when I went to change lane at 80 kph and narrowly avoided hitting another vehicle that was passing me at a greater speed. Only his honking on his horn prevented the mishap. The kids were a bit worried at the swerving. The downside of an automatic versus a manual car is that they don't handle as well so we wobbled more than I would have liked. I've decided that is one of the contributing factors to the lack of adequate lane control here.
