Further to my FILs request yesterday, a little update of the last week. Simon, this one is for you.
The week started well for the kids, Sunday and Monday were half term. Not so well for Nick who had a bad sore throat, headache and cold and was generally feeling very lousy. Due to obligations at work there was no way he could stay home.
On Monday, Gabrielle started to feel unwell and by Tuesday she had a fever and sore throat. A bit of TLC and a couple of days off school and she was fine. Ethan decided Tuesday evening that he was exhausted and feeling dizzy so he stayed home on Wednesday. By Thursday it was Zachary's turn. He had a sore stomach and general malaise so he stayed home while the other two went to school. Fortunately for him, my sailing lesson was cancelled again due to the high winds so we went to our neighbour's house for coffee (see Malaysian Coffee Morning). Her daughter had half term (different school) so she and Zachary hang out together. Meanwhile, I had a sore throat and an on and off headache all week. Thankfully, with a few homeopathics, some Goldenseal and a little Sambucoll thrown in to the mix, we are all now recovered.
